Formed in Brisbane, Last Dinosaurs return home for a run of Australian shows celebrating 10 years of Wellness, joined by their long-time friends Bad Suns. What began as a pivotal second album for the band has since grown into a defining part of their live set, shaped over a decade of touring, fan connection, and constant reinvention.
Ahead of the tour, the band have revisited a few standout memories from life on the road during the Wellness era — moments that capture both the chaos and the calm of touring internationally, from packed-out shows to the in-between stops that come to define the experience just as much as the stage itself.
Top 3 Memories from the 2022 USA Tour with Bad Suns from Last Dinosaurs
2. We ran a super cool treasure hunt competition which included some really cool prizes and a unique puzzle piece within the prize bag. It was so fun finding places to hold the bag and then meeting the winners. We have some super dedicated fans out there and we love ’em.
3. Aside from the nightly crowd surfing, endless fan letters and gifts, bottles of Patron and long drives through beautiful American landscapes – one highlight for me that will never lose their charm are the truck stops. I have a strangely homely feeling walking in to trucks stops at all hours. They’re so peaceful at 3am, and the selection of goods are so consistent. It’s almost like a spot-the-difference game, but all I do is try on all the sunnies and try to pair with hilarious accessories. I never buy anything though, not even food, not a thing. I just go in for the vibes.
