'Private' is the newest single by Australian singer-song writer Vera Blue. 'Private' mixes the best of Vera's original folk sounds, to progress into a lush, glitchy electronica. Unlike most electronic pieces, the star of the track isn't the superbly crafted backing track, but rather the incredibly powerful and beautifully designed lyrics and vocals. Vera Blue nails every aspect of this song from the mood, to the layering. Not many songs can transport me into an euphonic euphoria; engulfing me entirely into the moment, and vibe of song. Vera Blue is best known for her folk, soul, and just down right generally awe-inspiring voice. A musician held in such high regard in the Australian music scene; performing with Flume at Splendour In The Grass, and hosting sold out tours, Vera has definitely left her mark on our humble music community. The next step for Australia's musical golden girl is touring the USA over March, before returning to Australia for her 'Private' Tour in April.
