Chase Zera - A Polished Performance
Sydney’s nightlife might be going through a rough trot recently, but that hasn’t disheartened the incredible talent the city holds. Rather this adversity has generated an environment for audacious and determined performers to flourish. One of these acts is Chase Zera and her infectious dance pop. I headed along to the WEEK END CLUB night at the Potts Point Hotel to witness this rising star in action.

From the opening moments, it was clear that Chase Zera owned the stage. Her alluring presence emanated through the intimate venue, drawing punters into a euphonic trance. With all eyes locked onto the ascending act, a sultry sonic blossomed, as fluid choreography cascaded upon the stage. With only three originals out in the world, Chase Zera has already garnered an effusive collection of fans. ‘Mess’, ‘Clovers’, and her most recent release, ‘SAID I WOULD’ delighted with euphonious dynamism. A syrupy cover of Dua Lipa and a tease of a forthcoming Chase Zera release, enriched the already vibrant performance. Engrained into the set, personable insights gave light to the vivacious vocalist’s drive and passion for music. Joined by her DJ (Tom Granger) and two dancers (Laura Dickie and Amanda Hennessy), the performance was a sensuous exchange of invigorating dance and impeccable vocal work. There aren’t many developmental acts that can execute a flawless show, but Chase Zera is certainly one of them.
I’m utterly enthralled by Chase Zera, she is a power player in the making. Be sure to keep a close eye on Chase Zera as she continues to transcend the ranks and break boundaries.
