Sydney forwarding thinking pop machines Ninajirachi & Kota Banks show off their sonic chemistry in their new release True North (Deluxe) EP. The body of work displays the unstoppable duo’s prowess painted over 10 explosive tracks. This release paves the way for the dynamic duo to take on Australia’s East Coast for the True North tour. 

The project begins as boisterous and roaring as it could be, the title track ‘True North’ takes us on a whirlwind of powerful synth choruses and thunderous drums over Kota’s voice, laying the foundation of the perfect blend between the two artists. Tracks like ‘Opus’, ‘Vice Versa’, ‘Nice Girls Finish Last’ and ‘Middle Of The Night’ offer a refined pop-electronica experience, while more somber takes ‘Leaf In The Wind’ & ‘Holy Water’ are melded with experimental drums and melodies, demonstrating the genre bending artistry of the pair. 

Approaching the end of the record, we are hit with the raucous new additions. ‘Secretive’ leads - with vivid drums and bubblegum melodies, lending itself as a club ready tune. ‘Kissing u’ reverberates with vocal dexterity from Kotabanks featured alongside a luscious beat, paving the way to the final track. ‘Slytherin’ sends the record out with a bang. It’s vibrant production is championed by Kota’s strong vocal deliverance, providing punchy memorable lyrics with an energy second to none. 

True North (Deluxe) paints itself to be a record full of energy and excitement as Ninjairachi & Kotabanks make their sonic chemistry known. This release stops at nothing to ensure global domination for the two artists.
