On Thursday, Feki kicked off his 'Love You Better' tour and I had the pleasure of witnessing the local legend smash out his spectacular set at Black Bear Lodge in Brisbane, supported by other sensational acts.

Kicking off the evening was cosmic vibes of Polba, who invited the early comers with funky beats, and vibrant vibes. A perfect introduction to an incredible evening of festivities.

Leading on into the night was one of my favourite rising pop sensations, Austen. I haven't seen Austen live performance since she made an appearance on Kuren's set at Splendour In The Grass, so I was looking forward to her live performance. The Brisbane based artist was joined by Zaped who provided a mix of live percussion, swirling synths, and kinetic keys. Austen's set was peppered with electrifying covers. Her lush originals all garnered a sing along from the unanimously animated audience. The songstress also teased two unreleased singles, both of which are bangers, I can't wait for their official releases!

Around 10:30, Feki bounded onto stage to kick off his dynamic set. The Brisbane based producer has a knack of composing joyous and lighthearted dance music, and his set was no different. Comprised of mostly originals and remixes, Feki brought his signature spirited style to the table, igniting a amorous antiphon from the audience. Feki's euphonious rendition of Mansionair's 'Easier' sent tingles down my spine. This was complimented by goosebumps induced by the inspirative tones of 'Thankful', and the lush soundscape of 'Love You Better'.  Feki is an act that never ceases to blow me away and leave a smile on my face.  This is partly due to his fans, a diverse and genuine crowd who cherish the music and vibes Feki emits.

You can catch Austen in Sydney for EMC Play at The Landsdowne Hotel on Wednesday the 29th of November, and Friday the 1st of December at The World Bar. You can also join Feki on the remainder of his 'Love Me Better' tour at Melbourne's, The Workers Club on the 30th of November, and at Rocket Bar & Rooftop in Adelaide on the 1st of December. Let me assure you, both acts are ones not to be missed as they're masters of their craft.
