CLYPSO - Sidestep
Sydney dance pop producer and vocalist, CLYPSO has been on the rise with each vibrant release. Now she’s returned with a buoyant piece, ‘Sidestep’.
‘Sidestep’ retains CLYPSO’s bubbly and infectious persona where pristine percussion and vivacious vocals blossom within a tropical vista. CLYPSO captures the essence of falling for someone and the process of letting them know your feelings in a roundabout way. The charming character of ‘Sidestep’ is certain to resonate.

“‘Sidestep’ is about that hottie you keep bumping into. It’s telling them you like them in a roundabout way with a lot of sidesteps in the process.”
Odd Mob - Bad Moon (Feat. Kameron Alexander)
Brisbane’s Odd Mob has been a dance floor classic for some time. Now with the release of ‘Bad Moon’ featuring the sublime vocals of Kameron Alexander, the audacious act can add another succulent single to his catalogue.
The progressive dance focus of ‘Bad Moon’ are morphed with divine vocal stems result in a record that is equally mesmerising as it is ethereal. This amalgamation of a glitch centric production and a lofty lyrical aura generates a sense of escapism. ‘Bad Moon’ is an evolution for Odd Mob as he continues to bolster his stance as an acclaimed artist in the electronic landscape.

“‘Bad Moon’ really represents the evolution of my music. The lush spacey elements were made to really take you to another place. The track has a lot of elements that I have only just learned how to create over the past year. The whole imagery of the song could best be described as dancing under a full moon on a brightly lit night.”
“I’ve always felt like the moon has a great deal to do with every form that the creative process may take. This song is about a waxing and waning relationship that’s experiencing difficult daily circumstances. Circumstances are simply difficult sometimes, in these moments, seeing things eye-to-eye may feel impossible, but with a little will power (“supercharged” from the moon’s energy perhaps in this case) one can power through the rough until the next moon cycle.”
Svexx - Altitude
US producer and composer, Svexx challenges the bounds of convention with ‘Altitude’.
Born from a collaboration with a car cinematographer, ‘Altitude’s journey as a track morphs warm commercially familiar tones with a progressive production. The atmospheric and dreamlike nature of the single extends to the horizons, enveloping the listener into a world specifically designed for that sole purpose. When coupled with a video, Svexx’s ‘Altitude’ is a masterclass in audio-visual world building.

“The track started off with a car cinematographer in Germany who had the idea of filming a lot of drone and ground footage of cars that had beautiful aftermarket work done on them. I decided to further build onto this with a cinematographic wave soundtrack. I had the idea of mountains, trees covered with snow and a windy road with nothing other than the 2 cars making their way smoothly down the mountain. It was the inspiration for the airy ambient vocals that were constructed that fill the heart of the soundtrack throughout. Building on more elements from the wave genre allowed those ambient voices to breathe between the bass line and drums. It’s also why the name of the song is called “Altitude” as is reflected in it’s artwork!”
Henry Green - Realign
UK based muso, Henry Green has presented us a slice of introspective electronica in ‘Realign’.
‘Realign’ is a lesson of the human condition and an individual’s perception of the world that surrounds them. The self-exploration and associated growth are achieved through a euphoric yet grounded composition. ‘Realign’ morphs analogue textures, warm vocals, and soothing electronica into an intimate package. With a raw rhythm, the record exudes a sense of vulnerability that renders with the soul.

“‘Realign’ is about self exploration, and the idea that clarity can actually arrive in the moments when you’re distanced from your thoughts, and the preconceptions of how things should be. I wanted the track to feel expansive and euphoric, but intimate and honest in equal measure. That desire to balance the two styles inspired the production of the track.”
