Glass Animals - Many Memorable Moments

On Tuesday the 19th of November, British four piece, Glass Animals descendent into the halls of Sydney’s Factory Theatre for one of two exclusive Australian shows.

Opening the evening was a throwback DJ set courtesy of Micra, who selected gems from each decade starting from the 60s. This reminisce was the perfect introduction for Glass Animals rose coloured aesthetic.

As the lights dimmed the crowd erupted into a fevered frenzy in preparation for Glass Animals to storm the stage. Within moments of the set’s opening, the band launched into hit after hit, matching the audacious aura that was emanating from the audience. A luminous lighting display radiated behind the band, resulting in a divine quasi portraiture. Front man, Dave Bayley, made his way through punters and onto the bar to sing ‘Gooey’; undoubtedly a stand out moment of the evening. The succulent soundscapes and sweet symphonies continued with ‘Life Itself’, ‘Agnes’ and ‘Tokyo Drifting’, which were met by the splendidly sounds of the crowd choir. Glass Animals closed out the night with pineapples in hand for their cult classic, ‘Pork Soda’.

All in all, Glass Animals’ Sydney show was an intimate experience that was brimming with many memorable moments.
