GRAACE Interview - New Year, New Me

We caught up with GRAACE ahead of tonight’s performance at NYE in the Park! If you haven’t sorted out your NYE plans, the Sydney festival has you sorted with top tier music and a bubbly good time, grab your tickets!

Futuremag Music: Hey GRAACE, how're you going? Anything new popping off in your world?

GRAACE: I’m going really well. This year has had some huge up and downs for me but thinking of next year and a fresh start is really making me excited. Lots of work behind the scenes which will all unveil next year!

Futuremag Music: You're performing at NYE in the Park, what's your favourite part about New Years celebrations? Do you have any traditions for special shows like this?

GRAACE: I’ve never been the biggest fan of New Year’s Eve, I’ve kinda of always thought it was over rated. But this year playing my first New Years festival is actually something to look forward too. I actually couldn’t think of a better New Years playing a show to a group of people who understand me and then getting to hug everyone after, the best.

Futuremag Music: What are your go to party tunes to set the mood? Any party starters dotted in your set?

GRAACE: I’ve been listening to a lot of Saint JHN, honestly the best vibe for a lot of things. His album this year was one of the best of the year in my opinion.

Futuremag Music: "New year, new me" is a common theme each NYE, do you have any New Year's resolutions?

GRAACE: Haha funnily enough I’ve always been someone to say that but never followed through. But I have some things next year up my sleeve that I’m really excited to fully pursue. I’m holding myself to it for once. But I’m not going to say it in an interview in case I stuff up again hahah.

Futuremag Music: To wrap it up, if GRAACE was a cocktail, what would be in it to best describe the project?

GRAACE: Damn this is a good one. Honestly from most things I’ve released this far a good old glass of red would sum it up, nothing too bubbly like a cocktail.
