Canberra MC, Kirklandd has teamed up with Melbourne muso, Zellow for ‘Impulse’.

‘Impulse’ capitalises on Australia’s distinctive 90s hip hop sound seen in the work of local legends, Illy or Hilltop Hoods. The dynamic production morphs with Kirklandd’s commanding cadence as Zellow’s ethereal vocals surge through the soundscape. Kirklandd has assembled a superstar team for ‘Impluse’. Each element of the single has a luminous polish courtesy of co producers Cam Bluff (Amy Shark, Allday) and Citizen Kay.

Kirklandd is certainly one of Australia’s rising hip hop stars. I’ll be watching closely as he transcends the scene.
