Brisbane electro pop producer and vocalist LALKA returns to the game with her psychedelic single ‘Shut Up’.

‘Shut Up’ dances in its own grunge, marvelling with a foot in dark J-Pop and a foot in trip-hop. LALKA has delivered stunning production in such a beautifully sinister track that is hard to describe. Louder and heavier than Massive Attack, ‘Shut Up’ sounds as though King IV and FKA Twigs have had a love child; a full-force brute of ambitious feminine rage.

‘Shut Up’ blows me away. It’s beautiful, dark and cryptic; the sort of music I wish I had discovered sooner. Brisbane better watch out because someone has wronged LALKA and now she’s out for blood.
