Remixed: Young Franco - Miss You

By Ella Barrett,

Where to begin! The past twelve months have been extreme, to say the least, for one of Australia’s most recognised producers Young Franco. With his jaw (and bass) dropping hit of 2016, Drop Your Love ft. Dirty Radio, Young Franco has received some major love and support from the best of the best, Hayden James, RÜFÜS, Motez, Alison Wonderland, Rudimental, Nvoy, Snakehips, SG Lewis, Flight Facilities, just to name a few… Triple J loved what they heard as much as we did and the track was continued on high rotation all around Australia. This brought him to perform sold out gigs in Sydney and Brisbane throughout his headlining national tour.

Taking after on from its prosperity, Franco set off on an European Tour, bouncing all through the UK and France, including headlining a Brixton Jamm x Kitsunè event in Central Paris and working with a scope of electronic producers , while grasping the way of life that has always, from the start, propelled his songwriting. What did we get from all of this? Well an unbelievable tour, and the absolutely incredible and yet, unmissable single, Miss You. A dance track like no other, house, pop and electronic energies flow out of this tune non-stop. Miss You is yet another prime example of Franco’s ongoing advances of songwriting. The vocals blend oh so perfectly into each beat giving every listener a reason to sing and dance their hearts out to inevitably Young Franco’s most flawless track yet.

But wait, there’s more! The remixes.

That’s right, Young Franco teamed up with London Legends NVOY. This track screams an incredible passion from the first second and slides between their trademark, captivating synth-scapes and effective drums. Cabu, our very own talent from Sydney spins his own funk on the track, creating many more chilled out vibes for listeners. From Sydney all the way to France, producer Pastel provides a super groovy edit on the track with an awesome combination of energy and impulse. The drive couldn't be more grounded for Young Franco, who preceding this record finished his premiere world tour, hitting 16 dates, over 8 nations including a 1200 capacity feature, in Sydney alongside Of Leisure and Kitsuné. With his wild after keeping on rising, his talents in production, song-writing, expanding aptitudes and his charming aura reaching out to hearts all around the world, there is no way anyone will go without missing Young Franco this year.
