With glossy production and a slew of talented guest vocalists, SG Lewis turned a run of the mill Brisbane Wednesday night into a sunny party at The Zoo.

SG Lewis’s set popped with charisma and an array of sizzling, synth beats and some cheeky lyrics. With an enthusiastic groove, and a humble, excitable demeanour, it was no surprise that such a large crowd of avid fans gathered to this midweek set on his first Australian tour. Alongside his touring vocalists, SG Lewis conveyed a stunning voice, as he sung live several of his songs including ‘Better’, his recent collaboration with US electropop sensation Clairo. His sparkly and eclectic production entranced the audience into dancing to the vibrant, shimmery beats.

Sneaking in some unreleased material and colourful and immerse light design, SG Lewis’ set was one of the best nights of live music I’ve experienced in a while.
