SLUMBERJACK - Fracture EP

2017 just continues to get bigger and better for Perth DJ duo, Slumberjack! Their newest EP Fracture is in our presence and let us tell you, we were MORE than excited listening to this release! What’s more? The Fracture national tour begins in Brisbane on May 19 – Sydney show at The Metro Theatre is already sold out so be sure to grab tickets to this ASAP as you will not want to miss out on these killer shows! Hold up… THIS JUST IN… Slumberjack are joining not only the Groovin’ The Moo Line-up, but Australia’s one and only Splendour In The Grass (yes, again!!!) We are just as keen as the dynamic duo themselves for what is still to come in the upcoming months, but first things first – here’s a little track by track rundown of the Fracture EP.

Track 1 – Afraid Unafraid ft. Sydnee Carter: Gorgeous vocals by Sydnee Carter, mixed into some more soft paced beats from Slumberjack this is the perfect opening track to warm everyone up for what’s still to come.

Track 2 – Paralyse: What at first appears to be another of Slumberjack’s more relaxed tunes Paralyse transforms into an awesome style of dubstep and electronica.

Track 3 – Take Me ft. KLP: This is the track I think I am most excited for – KLP and Slumberjack?! This ultimate duo creates a track perfect to hype up a crowd (maybe at say, uh, splendour?) This song builds up and intensifies so deeply all throughout, it is going to be so perfect to rave to at any gig!

Track 4 – Cradle to Grave: Cradle to Grave is a very alternative tune with many mixed sounds from strings orchestras to animal-like sounds and wind instruments, to a very big, very hyped up, deep drop of bass and electric noise. This track has is all!

Track 5 – Fracture ft. Vera Blue: The primary single from the EP and title track is what has us so excited for the upcoming release. The beautiful track with another of Australia’s very own goddesses, Vera Blue, is already receiving high rotation on triple j and has been the most played track for two separate weeks running! Give it a listen and you’ll know why!
