Danny Harley is best known for his work as, The Kite String Tangle. The Brisbane producer has recently released his self-titled, debut album.

In February this year, the Brisbane producer teased us with the release of his single ‘Selfish’, full of synth driven electro pop goodness, it instantly captured the attention of fans. TKST then went onto release the single ‘The Prize’, featuring the dazzling vocals of Bridgette Amofah. These two brilliant singles point towards TKST’s new direction of dynamic stirring vocal performances and embracing quirky beats.

The much-anticipated album builds on The Kite String Tangle solid pedigree, including:

• Winning Triple J Unearthed in 2013.
• Performances at some of Australia premier festivals Byron Bay’s Falls Festival and Splendour in the Grass, as well as a guest appearance at Coachella.
• Appearances in Triple J Hottest 100, placing 19th in 2013 with ‘Given the Chance’ and in 15th in 2014 with ‘Arcadia’

Track five ‘This Thing We Got’ is filled to the brim with funky instrumentals, and TKST’s soothing vocals. This tune is undeniably a floor filler, and will be an essential for any DJ or playlist.

Track seven ‘Wanderlust’ is the psychedelic journey of sweet vocals and pulsating synthesizers. This tune is an instant mood booster, and bound to be the crowd pleaser. If this song doesn’t make you feel like a s’more (all gooey and bubbly on the insides) then you need to throw it on repeat.
