Akurei - Photophobia

Brissy boy Akurei has just dropped his new stellar single ‘Photophobia’. I’ve been excited to hear Akurei's new releases since seeing him perform live on the Golden Vessel's tour. You can read my review of that tour, HERE.

With plenty of hip-hop influence, Akurei delivers an, electro pop gem that oozes with trappy elements. ‘Photophobia’ contains a clever drum feature which combined with sly off-beat pauses allows the listener to feel emotionally transported to a party. With an assistance in production from fellow rising Brisbane producer Golden Vessel, ‘Photophobia’ is a sleek and sexy track which marvels in between electropop and hip-hop.
