Breakbot - Another You EP

It’s time to schedule out half an hour for a groove. French DJ and producer, Breakbot has returned to the airwaves with his Another You EP. The sensational selection of tracks feature Breakbot’s old friends Irfane, Ruckazoid and Delafleur.

Another You launches into the funk-disco heavens with it’s opening title track. ‘Another You’ oozes a sexy, yet suave nature filled with Ruckazoid’s lush lyrics, funky bass, and swift synths. The single can be summed down to being a neon dream, jam packed with retro influences, and romanticised reminisce.

‘Devotion’, Another You’s second single maintains Breakbot’s lavish soundscapes. Irfane’s vivid vocals flourish through the fashionable vista, as sweeping synths swerve through the buoyant beats. ‘Devotion’ is an alternate “pop, lock, and load” cut that could be pulled straight from Pulp Fiction’s dance diner scene.

Another You’s final single, ‘Don’t Stop The Dance’ blends a celestial composition with spectacular vibrancy. Delafleur’s soaring vocals promenade their way across the track’s energetic progression. Riveting riffs, marvellous melodies, and an overarching sense of jubilation flood ‘Don’t Stop The Dance’.

Closing out Another You are two hypnotic reworks of ‘Don’t Stop The Dance’ and ‘Devotion’.
