Second Idol- Boxing Ring

Sydney-based alternative rock band Second Idol have unveiled their dynamic single 'Boxing Ring' – produced by Clayton Segelov

The band says: “Boxing Ring' is a reflection on being a woman in the music industry. It can be a circus. It's informed by the barriers women face in the music industry. It's about our aspirations, dreams and struggles.”

Lara Villani- Ghost Of You

Lara Vilanni has released her second track, demonstrating her powerful and emotive vocals.

For this release, ‘Ghost of You’ explores the roller coaster of emotions you may go through when faced with betrayal. 

Luke Hemmings- Shakes

5 Seconds of Summer frontman Luke Hemmings has released the first single of his upcoming EP ‘boy’.

The melancholic track marks the first new solo music from Hemmings since the release of his critically acclaimed debut project, When Facing the Things We Turn Away From (2021).

King Ibis- Cooling Embers

Perth-based indie-rock band King Ibis have just unveiled their cathartic single 'Cooling Embers'.

King Ibis said: 'Cooling Embers' represents for me the moments of uncertainty but also the drive to continue finding the things that make me feel inspired and connected to the people I get the opportunity to share the experience with."

Beddy Rays- Silverline

On the meaning of the song, frontman Jack Van Issum explains “the song touches on the complexity and uncertainty that comes along with touring and relationships”.

Silverline' delves into a new sound we've yet to hear from Beddy Rays, with brit-rock influences really shining through.

Angus and Julia Stone- Cape Forestier

Acclaimed duo Angus & Julia Stone unveiled the second single and title track of their forthcoming sixth studio album, due for release on 10th May.

They explain that the song “is about a boat on a journey. I suppose it speaks to the journey we're all on in our lives—the comings and goings of love, loss, pain, and moving towards new horizons.”
