Golden Vessel - A Party Pleaser

Emerging Brisbane producer Golden Vessel, is an artist that I’ve been wanting to see live for a while now and I was lucky enough to catch his set at The Foundry, Brisbane.

Opening with instrumental party pleaser ‘Cylinder Snow’, Golden Vessel alongside friend and fellow artist Akurei transitioned the track beautifully into ‘Tell-the-Girl’.

After a soulful fusion of Frank Ocean’s ‘Chanel’ with ‘Wave’, a mellow older track, Golden Vessel performed three unreleased songs. ‘Bigbright’ was a soaring yet soothing track that I cannot wait to play on repeat. ‘Moonstone’ was a much quirkier track that got everyone in the audience dancing and cheering, and ‘Dizzy’ was bold and acted as an interlude to fan-favourite track ‘Shoulders’.

Closing out the night, it seemed that everyone in the audience had memorised the lyrics to ‘Shoulders’ and shouted it out like an anthem.

I’m eagerly awaiting the next release from Golden Vessel and excited for the next opportunity to see him live; as I’m sure is everyone else.
