Melbourne duo, Kllo have just dropped their second single for 2018, and it’s a banger! ‘Candid’ captures everything we love about Kllo.
From the opening moments of ‘Candid’, the ornate production and authentic vocals caress the soul with a tender touch. A subdued and laidback beat meanders through the succulent soundscape, as atmospheric lyrics drift effortlessly through the elating ensemble. Complimenting ‘Candid’s release is a raw and organic music video by South Korean filmmaker, Moon Taerim. The personable and approachable nature of the single smoothly translates into Taerim’s visual rendition.

“It is inspired by a personal experience I had (most of our songs are) but this time it’s done with a lot more strength and perseverance. Not compromising, not being ‘so nice’ in my reaction to an uncomfortable experience. Just being as candid as I can and deserve to be. It’s understanding the power of my words, which is something new to me and the fundamental key to my happiness.”
