LOVER has returned with his sophomore single ‘Best Side’, a track filled with eclectic harmonies and transcendent beats.
‘Best Side’ is packed with indie, bedroom-pop flair, drawing the listener into a gorgeous, lo-fi soundscape. Mixing things up from the R&B of ‘Eagle to the Prey’, the infusion of lo-fi and jazzy hip-hop keeps ‘Best Side’ fresh and interesting. Chilled swinging symphonies draw subtle similarities to Sharon Van Etten’s ‘Comeback Kid’; all while the track radiates a meaningful intimacy. ‘Best Side’ is stunning second single from LOVER’s developing discography.
