Melbourne based vocalist REYA has dropped ‘Wet Paint’, a divine mix of soul and electro grounded trip-hop.
Brooding in a cinematic, retro haze, ‘Wet Paint’ captives the listener with a nostalgic charm. Encapsulating a blissful vibe, REYA’s vocals perfectly contrast the production by Haxx of Kult Kyss fame. Not only is REYA’s voice stunning, it feels fresh through the creative genre-blend of the production. ‘Wet Paint’ is reminiscent of the trip-hop of ‘Sly’ by Massive Attack, both tracks share stunning sultry vocals and are produced so tight.
