Melbourne-based producer Tentendo has just released his latest single, ‘Waves’ featuring regular collaborators Rahul, Jordan Dennis and Blasko.
From the opening, ‘Waves’ urgent and fluttering percussion glitters. Tentendo’s melting, neo-soul synths drift as Jordan Dennis and Rahel’s honeyed vocals ripple. Swelling bass soon arrives to anchor these textures in a clever and catchy hook. Each element is blended through ‘Waves’ key motif, which is forged through poignant lyrics, “I’m lost inside your outer space, I’m chasing all the stars in search of you”. The shimmering single solidifies Tentendo’s position, as a producer well-worth keeping both eyes and ears on.
